Hydropower For Mineral Resources

The geography of the Amur region has been actively studied in recent decades. There are six main areas of geographic research in Priamurya.

  • Landscape and environmental studies.
  • Geography and management of natural resources.
  • Geography of the population, including labour market problems.
  • Electricity Geography.
  • Geography of agriculture and forestry.
  • Recreational geography and tourism.

The area has a weak degree of understanding of landscapes. There is still no published map, although studies on the status and violation of the Territory ' s landscape at the end of the XC have been carried out by various organizations. Landscape and environmental studies are currently related to the utilization of the natural resource potential of the field, the design, construction and operation of facilities such as the PEP pipeline, the East, operational and prospective GEC, the Amur federal route, which is particularly protected by natural territories.

The focus on geography of natural resources and natural resource management is traditional for the Amur region, with its highly expressed commodity specialization. IDP ' s active activities in the Amur oblast have led to the issuance in recent years of extensive reports on mineral resources, work on individual resources, including those published in the excellent polygraph performance of I. A. Vasileva, G. P. Kowtonyuk, V. D. Melnikov, A. Danilov and other authors. The work of L. N. Dudchenko V. T. Yaborova, which reflects the problems of resource management and environmental management, has been published with the support of enterprises and public organizations.
