On 22 and 24 October, the Ninth Scientific and Technical Conference of Hydropower was held on the basis of the VNIIG B.E. Vedeneev and St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Petra Grande (SPBU). New developments and technologies. " As part of the event, hydropower specialists discussed the prospects for the development of Russian renewable energy.
The conference was co-organized by PAO Rusgidro, AO VNIGUE B.E. Vedeneev, SPBU, NSRussian Hydropower" . More than 400 people from over 100 hydropower organizations participated. The topics of the discussion were reliable and safe operation of hydroelectric (HTS) equipment and hydrotechnical installations, scientific and technological developments in hydropower development and RE.
Presentations were made at the conference by the Chief Engineer of the PAO Rusgidro Boris Bogus, Director-General of the Institut Gidroproject and the Lengydroproject, Vladimir Pehtin, Director of the Department for Development and Standardization of Production Processes, Rasim Hasiahmetov, Director-General of AO, VNIG I.B.E. Wedenev, Evgen Belland.
The conference programme consisted of two plenary meetings and four technical sections, which heard more than 130 reports in the following areas: GSE equipment, GTS hydraulic research, concrete and iron-bedton GTS designs, GTS ground and grounds. For the first time, a round table on the " Continuing Education System " was held at the conference, the basis for the development of the engineering staff of the PAO ' s " Rusgidro " . At the round table, the Director of the Personnel Management and Organizational Development Department, Vadim Galka, presented a proactive human resources development programme for Pau, Rusgidro, from the new school to the workplace.
